Carolyn Wood

Carolyn Mary Wood was born on August 22, 1941 to the late Anthony and Mary (Nee Piccirillo) Sena. Loving mother to Brian (Rachael) Wood, Jenny Waters, Cathy (Martin) Herzog and Karen Bird; Cherished grandma to Ellen, Terri, Bill, Loretta, Stephen, Chrissie, Rachel, Kelley and Samuel; Great-grandmother to Destiny, Grace, Mike, L.J., Karlee, Kyle, Cheylinn and Gregory. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her three brothers Mike ( the late Ida) Sena, Tony (Carol) Sena and Johnny (Carmella) Sena.

Carolyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking them to dinner and musicals. She could be found watching the Cincinnati Bengals, UC Bearcats, Ohio State or the Hallmark Channel. Carolyn was also well known for her “evil eye”.

Carolyn passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Resident of Anderson township. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center Street, Milford, OH 45150 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial service will start at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Association in Carolyn’s name. A celebration of life will be held after the service at the American Legion - 111 Victor Stier Dr, Milford, OH 45150. Food and beverages will be provided.
