With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyna Betty Lenhardt, age 67, who left this world peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Goshen, Ohio. Born on September 28, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Carolyn exemplified a life dedicated to service and compassion, guided by her strong Catholic faith.
Carolyn devoted her career to the well-being of others as a Speech Pathologist and Audiologist. For many years, she worked tirelessly in schools and institutions providing invaluable assistance to hearing and speech-impaired children. Her kindness touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving a profound impact on her community.
Carolyn was a remarkably private person, preferring to listen rather than speak of her own life. Despite her quiet demeanor, those who knew her recognized her deep capacity for care and her resolve to help others. She was cherished not only for her professional contributions but also for the warmth she brought to the lives of others.
She is survived by Mary Barbara (Harold aka Bill) Beavan, Joseph Lenhardt, Peter John (Ann Marie) Lenhardt and Paul John (Kelly) Lenhardt; she is also survived by her aunt Mary Witt and cousins; Linda Knox, John Lenhardt, Nick Lenhardt, John Witt, Mia Holz, Steven Witt, Edye St. Hill and Dan Witt.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at a later date, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be announced. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together in remembrance of the grace and love that Carolyn shared with everyone around her.
May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave in life.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Lenhardt and Barbara Lenhardt.
