Catherine Louise Gutierrez, a radiant spirit and loving matriarch, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 79, in Loveland, Ohio. Born on August 3, 1946, in Richlands, Virginia, she spent her life surrounded by creativity, warmth, and a deep love for her family.

Catherine was known for her endless energy and her flair for artistic endeavors. A talented seamstress, she filled her home with beauty and her heart with projects, always seeking new ways to express her creativity. Family and friends will fondly remember her because her door was always open, welcoming everyone with a smile and a helping hand.A fiercely devoted mother and grandmother, Catherine cherished her relationships with her daughters and significant others, Christina Thomas and Bethany Jones - Shisler & partner Bill Winstel, stepdaughters Carmen Hoover, Juanita & Gloria Gutierrez and her beloved grandsons, Cameron Evan Shisler, Joshua Andrew Thomas, and Mathew Alexander Thomas, great grandchildren Alexi Noel Thomas and Elizabeth Morgan Thomas. She instilled in them the values of love and generosity.

Catherine's vibrant spirit and unwavering faith were at the core of her life. She found joy in the simplest of moments, making the ordinary feel extraordinary. She lived life with a sense of purpose and a heart full of gratitude.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity that supports heart and valve trauma patients, or TriHealth Heart and Vascular Institute where Catherine received excellent care.

Catherine Louise Gutierrez will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing her.Catherine was preceded in death by husband John Gutierrez, Parents Dorothy & Evertt Moore, siblings Evertt Moore Jr., Jeanie Girone, James Moore, and stepdaughter Rose Gutierrez.
