Catherine S. Quinn

Catherine Ann Stevens Quinn passed away on August 1, 2022 at the age of 64. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother, and an incredible friend to many. Cathy showed kindness to everyone she met and will be remembered for her calm nature and giving spirit. Cathy was born to Marvin and Mary Ann Stevens on December 17, 1957. She traveled the U.S. while her father was a Marine Corps lieutenant colonel before settling in Northern Virginia. Cathy attended West Springfield High School before earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology at George Mason University. After settling in Cincinnati, she received her master’s degree from Xavier University and started her career as a licensed professional clinical counselor. She was sought after by many clients as she always enjoyed listening to and helping others. Cathy loved the nature that surrounded her, from the backyard oasis she created, to the beach. She dedicated many hours to the Cincinnati Nature Center over the years and always enjoyed hiking, biking, exploring, and gardening. She is survived by her three children, Megan (Cameron) Druffel, Erin (Mark) Sauls, and Ryan (Shelby) Quinn; three grandchildren, Isla, Hudson, and Madelyn; and her sister Margaret Stevens (Rich Shaffer). Being a mother and a grandmother brought her the most joy in life and she will be missed immensely. Services will be held at 11 A.M on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford Ohio.
