Cecil Ray Powers

Cecil Ray Powers, 78 of Milford, passed away Dec. 24, 2017 following a long illness. Born Nov. 12, 1939 in Whitley County, Ky., he was the son of the late Cecil H. and Lois (Prewitt) Powers. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda (Judd) Powers, son Jason (Staci) Powers and daughter Melinda (Doug) Briggs, grandchildren Logan Powers and Ethan and Bryce Briggs, brothers Jerry (Naomi) Powers and Rick (Susan) Powers, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Maurice and Paulette Powers. Cecil retired as a machine repairman from the Ford Motor Co. after 46 years. He was an avid car enthusiast. He was a member of the Fastiques Rod & Custom car club and enjoyed attending rod runs around the Midwest. Visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Friday, December 29th from 6-8 PM.
