Charlene M. Lang

Charlene M. Lang, age 76 of Miami Twp., passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019. She was born April 1, 1943 in Knoxville, TN the daughter of Houston Lay and Lillian Marshall Lay. She was a graduate of Central High School in Cincinnati and then married Paul, the love of her life in 1969. She lived for her family, her church and her dog Gypsy. Charlene was a fighter having battled cancer for over 20 years. Despite this battle, she always kept her spirits and sense of humor. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marla J. and David E. Leever and Paula E. and Brian E. Cochran, her grandchildren Cory L. Leever, Jessica M. Colebank, Kennedi J. Leever, Gavin C.L. Colebank and Nathan P. Lloyd, great-grandchildren Owen R. Woods, Connor B. Leever and a great-granddaughter on the way, sisters Margaret Lay, Katherine Sluder and Frances LaRue, as well as her BFFs Phyllis Harrison and Fran Cash-Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Lang, parents as well as her brothers and sister Joe Lay, Louna Rae Ellington, Jimmy Lay, Charles N Lay (her twin), and Lorenzo "Renny" Lay. Family will receive friends at Milford Christian Church, 844 State Route 131, Milford, OH 45150 on Monday, May 13th from 11 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
