Charles “Curt” Bandow, age 72, of Blanchester passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery. Curt was born in Germany April 13, 1951, the son of Robert and Wally (nee Schaefer) Bandow, while his father was in the service during WWII. After returning to the states, Curt graduated from Blanchester High School and was the plant manager of the Allen Company for over 40 years, before retiring. He married Billie (nee McKay) Bandow in 1975. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2020. He enjoyed camping, outdoor adventures, sports, listening to music, coaching, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He loved to give his loved ones “nicknames”. Curt is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law; Todd and Bobbie Bandow, Doug and Stephanie Naylor, grandchildren; Kelsey “2015” Naylor, Samantha “Corndog” Naylor, Natalie “Nat Bat” Naylor, Brant “B Boy” Bandow, Bryce “Hans” Bandow, Bryan “B Rye” Bandow, Brett “Bretters” Bandow, Sophia “Sofo” Bandow, and Alia “Fluffy” Bandow, sisters; Doris Tenant and Susan Barr, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 4:30 to 7PM Monday October 16, 2023, with a service at 7:00PM at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State. Route 28, Goshen Ohio 45122. Jim Krusling will officiate. His family requests memorials in his name be directed to the American Cancer Society. Inurnment took place in the Blanchester IOOF Cemetery
