Charles J. Fehl

Charles J. Fehl, age 80, of Batavia passed early morning March 15, 2017 at the Brookwood Community. He was born July 22, 1936 in Lynnwood, Pennsylvania the son of Charles and Gertrude Watson Fehl. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and in 1961 he married Marie M. Maitland Fehl. Charles graduated from the Pennsylvania Military College with a degree in engineering and he started his career at the General Electric Company in Pennsylvania and in 1977 he moved to the plant in Cincinnati were he finished his career with 33 years of service. Charles and his wife Marie were members of the Faith Church in Milford where he enjoyed being a part of the Children's Ministry. He is survived by his wife, Marie, daughter; Cynthia (Steven) Paris, son; Charles Robert Fehl, brother-in-law; Ronald Hoffman, sister-in-law; Leona Brown. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Muriel Hoffman and Margaret Barton. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Faith Church, 5910 Price Rd. Milford 45150 with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Pastor Dick Lehman will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Miami Township. His family requests that memorials be made to the Children's Ministry at the church.
