In loving memory of Charles "Dale" Hendrixson, who peacefully departed from this life on February 18, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Williamsburg, OH, Dale lived a rich and fulfilling life that was a testament to love, family, and dedication.
Dale was the devoted husband of Elizabeth Kober Hendrixson for over 69 years, leaving behind a legacy of love and companionship that few can match. He was a cherished father to Mitch (Debbie) Hendrixson and Jenni (Terry) Chrislip, who remember him for his unwavering support and guidance through life's journey. As a proud grandfather, he delighted in the lives of his grandchildren: Brittany Ann (Tyler) Payne, Ashley Nicole Hendrixson, Chad Ray (Karla Coffey) Chrislip, and Erin Leigh (Johnny Parris) Chrislip-each of whom carries a piece of his loving spirit.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Vada Finley Hendrixson, as well as his brothers, William Hayes and Gerald Paul Hendrixson.
A highly respected figure in the professional world, Dale spent over 36 years with Cincinnati Milacron, retiring as the Vice President of Sales in the Robotics Division. His career was marked by innovation and leadership, reflecting his passion and dedication to his work.
Outside of his professional achievements, Dale was an avid golfer who famously enjoyed a hole-in-one, a proud craftsman who could build anything from beautiful furniture to adding rooms to his home, and a lover of reading and puzzles. He cherished his time outdoors, tending to the garden and enjoying moments of tranquility by a fountain that he built himself.
Dale had an adventurous spirit and traveled extensively in Europe, visiting remarkable places like Germany, London, Norway, and Sweden. His life was filled with experiences and stories that he shared with family and friends alike.
Dale was a veteran of the United States Army. His time in the service instilled in him a strong sense of duty and commitment to his family and community.
The community will gather to celebrate Dale's remarkable life on February 23, 2026. A visitation will take place at Evans Funeral Home in Milford at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Following the services, he will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
In honoring Dale, let us remember a man who filled our lives with joy, wisdom, and love. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed.
