Charles Fowler Kane Jr.

Charles F. Kane, Jr. better known as Charlie 80, of Fayetteville passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was born in Washington, DC on February 25, 1940 and was the son of the late Charles F. Kane Sr, and Mildred Agnes Kane.
Charlie graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD. After High school he began his long successful career in Wastewater Treatment beginning in Washington, D.C. and retiring from the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). Charlie received awards and was recognized from State of Ohio and local municipalities. On June 9, 1974 he married the late Susan Kane (Fletcher) who passed away on February 10, 2009. Charlie had many hobbies he enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, and working around his home. Charlie followed in his father's footsteps in becoming a fraternal member in Masonry attained Master Mason and was a member of Hamer Masonic Lodge #228 in Owensville.
He is survived by a sister Beverly Neale Mt. Dora, Fla, a bother Ronald, a daughter Wendy Chandler and husband Tony of Davidsonville, MD, son Charles P. Kane Sr. and wife Terri of Greensboro, MD, son Charles D. and wife Carrie of Cambridge, MD, son Tim of Fayetteville, and son Steven and wife Courtney of Milford. 11 Grandchildren Dale Call and wife Melinda, Joey Call and wife Laura, Zachary Chandler. Charles Patrick Jr and wife Lynn, Shawn and wife Angie. Hunter, Adrienne, Easton, Drew, Adalynn, Lennox. 10 Great-Grandchildren Destiny, Michael, Madison, Roxanne, RJ, Nicole, Mackenzie, Kaela, Preston, and Levi. 3 Great Great Grandchildren Ezre, Trenton and Skylar and special four-legged companion Pete, several Nieces and Nephews, and Special Friends Pete and Mary Worth of Kansas. Besides his parents and his wife, Charlie is preceded in death by a brother Gerald Kane and granddaughter Madison.
A celebration of life will take place at a later time and date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Hamer Masonic Lodge #228 PO Box 44, Owensville, Ohio 45160 in honor of Charles F Kane Jr.
