Charles Edward Ohmer Sr.

Charles Edward Ohmer Sr., a cherished father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on July 8, 1928, in Milford, Ohio, Charles lived his entire life in this community, where he touched the hearts of many.

His love for family and friends was evident to all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved son, Charles Ohmer Jr., and daughter, Jo Carol Ohmer. He also leaves behind a legacy of love and memories among many extended family members and friends.

Charles had a passion for rebuilding antique tractors, often sharing this joy with his son. His love for the outdoors extended to fishing and tending to his vegetable garden, activities that brought him great satisfaction and joy. He was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures in life and shared his passions generously with those he loved.

Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lula and brothers-John, Lawrence, and Ralph-Charles's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Funeral services for Charles will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, starting with visitation at Evans Funeral Home in Milford (741 Center Street) at 9:30 AM, followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Following visitation, he will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery.
