Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Thomas Rump, affectionately known as "Tommy," who left us on July 13, 2026, at the young age of 28 due to a tragic accident. Born on October 1, 1997, in Toledo, Ohio, Tommy brought joy and laughter to all who knew him throughout his life.

Tommy is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Crystal Leighann Rump. He was the beloved son of Gary A. (Michelle) Rump Sr. and the late Cindy L. Rump, and he leaves behind a loving family, including his brother, Gary A. (Kim) Rump Jr., Michael A. Rump, and Matthew L. Rump. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Crystal R. Rump. As the cherished grandson of the late Charles A. Rump, the late Charles T. Boles, Edna L. Boles, and the late Nancy L. Rump, Tommy's legacy continues with his adoring nieces and nephews, Luke N. Rump and Lacey E. Rump, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will hold him dear in their hearts. He is also survived by Brittany Helton, the mother of his child.

A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Tommy found joy in fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles; his adventurous spirit mirrored his vibrant personality. Known for his infectious laughter and humor, he had an extraordinary ability to bring smiles to those around him. Tommy was a caring individual with a heart of gold, always willing to lend a hand and share a laugh. His unwavering love for his family, especially his daughter, and his pride in his work as an ironworker were evident to all who were fortunate to know him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tommy's life. A visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on July 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on July 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Following the service, Tommy will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

Tommy will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
