Charles Robert Williams age 87, of Fayetteville, passed away September 6, 2021 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia. He was born March 4, 1934 in Cincinnati, the son of Theodore and Bernadine (nee Fischer) Williams. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran and an electrician for Fischer Electric for 26 years and several other contractors before his retirement. He was a volunteer fire fighter for Union Township. He is survived by his children and spouses; Chuck & Jenny Williams, Mark & Denise Williams, John Williams, and Tina & Jack Wolfer, his former spouse Barbara (nee Harris) Williams, grandchildren; Nicole (Gary), Brandi (Craig), Owen (Amanda), Mark Jr. (Chelsey), Tanner, Clayton and Kailyn, great grandfather of Kent, Isla, Maci, Aly, Drew and Anna. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenny, his 7 siblings, a granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2021 at the St. Angela Merici Church, St Patrick Chapel in Fayetteville with a visitation at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Reverend Tom Bolte will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Union Township with U.S. Army Military Honors. His family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.
