Charles H. Witte

Charles H. Witte beloved husband of 56 years to Donna L. (nee Biedenbender) Witte; loving father of Scott William (Beth) Witte, Mary Kathleen (Keith) Laws and Amy Lynn (Jeff) Leatherwood; cherished grandfather of Madeleine Paige Witte, Chase William Witte, Andrew Ellis Laws, Corinne Cecilia Laws, Tyler Harrison Laws, Abigail Marie Leatherwood, Samuel Jeffrey Leatherwood and Charles Sanford Leatherwood; dear brother of Mary Ann Rosensweet, Joseph Witte, Bill Witte, John Witte, Julie Meltzer and Terry Tanner; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dorothy (nee Mueller) Witte; and siblings, Judy Witte and Tom Witte. Passed away Wednesday August 12, 2020. Age 78. Residence Milford, OH. Charles served proudly as a Corporal in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He retired as a Purchasing Director after twenty plus years with Mike Albert Leasing. Charles enjoyed golfing, fishing and the outdoors with his children and grandkids; as well as, spending the winters in Florida with friends. Visitation will be held at St Andrew Church, 552 Main St., Milford on Tuesday August 18th from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at St Mary's Cemetery in St Bernard, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Marines Toys For Tots or St Jude Children's Hospital.
