Cheryl Loomis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Loomis, a beloved sister, friend, and master beautician, who left this world on July 22, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on April 9, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, Cheryl spent her life bringing joy, glamour, and beauty to everyone she met. She resided in Amelia, Ohio. She owned her cherished salon, "Hello Gorgeous Hair Studio," a space that mirrored her vibrant personality and talent.

Cheryl's passion for beauty was outdone only by her love for her family. She was a devoted sister to Rick Loomis, Annie Berry and Pazazz, whose lives she enriched with her kindness and charisma. She adored her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda, Jeremy, Ella and Everett. Cheryl had a heart as big as her dreams, often giving selflessly to others and ensuring that everyone felt special in her presence. Her sociable nature made her a beloved figure among friends; she was truly a social butterfly, lighting up every gathering with her warmth and laughter.

In her leisure, Cheryl found joy in shopping, sunbathing, and swimming, particularly during her travels to Florida, where the sun always seemed to shine a little brighter. She was also the proud owner of a beloved dog named Oscar, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Cheryl not just for her artistic talents, but for the love and warmth she shared so generously. She touched countless lives and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Richard Loomis and Betty Loomis.
