Christine Edelle Dumford Kirby Peron

Christine Edelle Dumford Kirby Peron of Melbourne, Arkansas, daughter of the late Arthur P. Dumford and Olive Ferne Dumford, was born October 3, 1928 in Mason, Ohio. She departed this life April 10, 2015 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 7 days. She was an accomplished seamstress, designing and sewing wedding dresses, dance costumes and clothing items. She was also employed as a machine operator at Kroger Candy Plant in Sharonville, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Richard Gerald Peron March 10, 1984 in Loveland, Ohio. She was a member of Loveland Christian Church in Loveland, Ohio. She attended Melbourne Community Church in Melbourne.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years: Richard Gerald Peron of the home; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Gary and Martha Kirby of Eubank, Kentucky, Greg and Debbie Kirby of Lebanon, Ohio James and Sheri Kirby of Sharonville, Ohio, Richard Peron, II of Illinois and Jason Peron of Tennessee; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Becky and Keith Magner of Sharonville, Ohio, Stormy and Michael Helton of Illinois and Mindy Pebley of Tennessee; one sister: Gladys Nixon of Ash Fork, Arizona; 29 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great, great, grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Elaine Hughes and Janice Siler; two brothers: Earl Dumford and David Dumford; and one sister: Betty Poe.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. There will be a visitation Thursday, April 16th at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio, from 1 PM until time of funeral services beginning at 2 PM.
