Born on January 14, 1933, in Sicily, Italy, Clara's journey through life was marked by an indomitable spirit, a deep love for her family, and a passion for her many interests.

Clara's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A devoted mother to her five children, she is survived by her daughters, Sherry L. (Daniel) Duke and Barbara L. (Bill) Hillard, and her sons, Dalous L. (Patricia) Byrd, Jr., James L. (Debbie) Byrd, and Anthony L. (Kimberly) Byrd; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by: her parents Antonio & Jennie Bicchieri, and sisters Catherine Elsner and Louise Vogline.Throughout her life, Clara was a source of strength and support to her familyItalians ready to lend an ear or offer her famous home-cooked meals, lovingly prepared from recipes that were as rich in italian tradition as they were in flavor.

Clara enjoyed a fulfilling career at Cincinnati Milacron, where she dedicated 35 years of her life. Upon her retirement, she poured her heart into her gardening and embraced her roles in the local garden club and the Red Hatters, where she flourished among friends who shared her exuberance for life. Always an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, Clara found joy in the simple pleasures, engaging in spirited discussions about the team she loved.

As we remember Clara, we reflect on her pride in her Sicilian heritage, her love of family, and her beautiful spirit. Clara's legacy will live on in the memories and traditions she created, echoing through the hearts of her family and friends.
