It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Constance "Connie" Clements, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 70. Connie was born on March 6, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she remained a lifelong resident. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit.
A devoted mother to her two sons, Jason and Steve, Connie lived for her children and grandchildren, always proudly supporting them in their endeavors, embodying the role of their biggest fan. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent together, whether it was sharing a home-cooked meal, watching old western shows, or enjoying the little pleasures in life, like getting her nails done by her granddaughter.
Connie's love for her family extended beyond mere words; it was a constant presence in her life. A true homebody at heart, she found comfort in the simple joys of family life, but also embraced opportunities for joy and pampering. She especially enjoyed playing football, sharing her passion for the game with those she loved.
Connie is survived by her sons, Steve Clements and Jason (Kelli) Clements, grandchildren, Makinley, Brady, Lexi, Michael and Xander, siblings, Becky Cunningham, Karl Busam and Dan Busam. She is also survived by her sister-in-law's Paulette Busam, Bev Busam, Karen Busam and Sueann Busam. Connie is preceded in death by her husband Bernard "Butch" Clements, parents, Norbert and Antoinette Busam and brothers Greg Busam and Skip Busam.
As we remember Connie's life, we will gather to honor her memory. Funeral services will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on December 13, 2024, beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Williamsburg Cemetery.
Connie leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but will forever remain a guiding light for her family and friends.
