Connie Lee Truesdell Pfister, age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio left this earth peacefully on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, to be present with her Lord and reunited with her son and husband of 51 years. Connie was born to the late Glen & Bessie Truesdell on February 15, 1948. She was a sister to Carol Willoughby, Donna (Steve) Jodrey, and stepbrother Glen (Stacy) Truesdell. She was known as “Babe” to her one and only love, Jim Pfister. She was a selfless Mother to Jon-Paul (Colleen) Pfister, Amber (Matt) Wheeler and the late Michael James Pfister. She was “Granny” to her four grandchildren, Joey (13), Ruby (12), James (11), and Felix (9). Connie accepted the Lord as her personal savior at a young age. She quietly served in her church as a Sunday school teacher, janitor, board member, treasurer, as well as host to many that gathered in their home. She was often heard praying for her kids, family, and friends out loud from her bedroom. Connie retired from working for 25 years in accounts payable at Lighthouse Youth & Family Services. In her later years, she selflessly provided care for her husband until Lewy Body Dementia had completely taken its toll. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene, 3802 Waterson Road., Cincinnati, Ohio, with a Celebration of Life service starting at 12 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Flag Spring Cemetery in Newtown, Ohio, immediately following the service.
