Conrad Lanier Thompson

Conrad Lanier Thompson was born on January 22, 1927 in Kings Mountain Kentucky to Ollie and Gertrude Thompson. He served in the United States Army in 1945-1947 WWII and in the United States Air Force during the Korean War 1948-1952.

Conrad married Juanita Caudill on June 21, 1951. He worked at Formica Corporation from Sept 1955 to Jan 1989, and thoroughly enjoyed being a greeter at Wal-Mart for 20 years, from 1990 to 2010 Conrad and Juanita were faithful members of Central Baptist Church for years.

Conrad is survived by his wife Juanita of 63 years, his brother Eldred Thompson of Danville, Ky, his sister Marilyn McCurdy Palm Desert, CA, and his three children: son Tony Lanier (wife Linda) Cincinnati, daughter Connie Sue Myles (husband Patrick) Franklin OH, and son Barry Dale (wife Angie) Independence, KY. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Rachel Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, Mindy Walling, Nicholas Myles (wife Stephanie), Kevin Thompson, and Greg Thompson, and nine great grandchildren, Jason Thompson, Mallory Thompson, Donavan Davis, Cheyenne Walling, Alicia Diaz, Chloe Thompson, Ella Myles, Hudson Myles, and Braden Walling.

Mr. Thompson passed away peacefully with his family present on Sunday April 19, 2015. Age 88. Residence Colerain Township. Friends may call Thursday April 23rd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church, 7645 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45224. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday April 24th at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens.
