Dana Bates

Born on September 23, 1958, in Chillicothe, OH.

A proud graduate of Bishop Flaget High School in Chillicothe, Ohio, Dana was known for his adventurous spirit, particularly when it came to hunting for the perfect antique treasure or attending a lively auction. These interests brought him joy and often led to great conversations with friends, family, and strangers alike.Dana is survived by his daughter Gabrielle Bates; his brother, William Bates (Jan Montarsi); his sister, Melea McKenney (Steve). Also survived by his Aunt and Uncle, his nieces, and his cousins.Family and friends will gather for private services to celebrate Dana's life.

Dana had a deep love for animals and spent several years caring for his mother before her death. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in our hearts.Dana was preceded in death by parents William T. & Alinda (Wenzel) Bates
