Danny Weiss

Daniel Lloyd Weiss was born on November 28, 1959 to the late Lloyd H. and Peggy (Nee Byrer) Weiss. Beloved husband of 35 years to Helen (Nee Peña) Weiss; Loving father to Mindy (Chris Powell) Weiss and Nina (Matthew) Lee; Cherished grandfather to Jaxon Daniel Lee; Dear brother to the late Bob Weiss; Uncle to Eric Weiss, T.J. Weiss, and the late Cory Seigla. Daniel is also survived by his border collie Jekyll.

Danny was a charismatic man who touched many lives. He loved God with all his heart and would do anything for his wife, daughters, son-in-laws, and grandson.

He served in the air force for seven years and enjoyed working on planes, flying, learning about clouds and weather patterns, and meeting new people.

Danny loved reading his Bible, meditating on the Scriptures, journaling, and being in nature. He also loved to go out and do fun things like attend seasonal activities, go to museums, and go out to eat with his church family.

He had a passion for Native American culture, and he enjoyed traveling. One of his favorite places to go was Gatlinburg where he could see the mountains and be closer to God.

Although Danny was outgoing and very social, he still preferred to spend quality time with his family, especially his wife who was his best friend.

Danny was very loved and will be missed by many.

Danny passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 63. Resident of Batavia, Ohio. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 starting at 11:00 AM at Graceland Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum chapel – 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH 45150. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Danny’s name to the American Lung Association (link at bottom of page).
