David R. Baird

David R. Baird, age 83, long time resident of Norwood, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his home in Somerset, KY. He was born January 17, 1938 in Habersham, TN. His survivors include Greg (Jan) Baird of Dacula, GA. Ronnie (Vicki) Baird of Armuchee, GA. Sisters Patsy Baird, Loveland, OH. Debbie Baird, Loveland Ohio. Brothers include Fred Baird of Williamsburg, Ohio, James Baird of Deer Lodge, TN, Dub Baird of Norwood, OH, Jerry Baird of Fairfield Township, OH. He is also survived by four grandsons: Brandon, Adam (Jessie), Brennen (Emily) and Max Baird, along with four great grandchildren: Eva, Collin, Liam and Ivey Baird. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Patti Baird and other family members Fannie, Clyde, Ernest, Pete, Gene and Lester Baird. David was an avid golfer. He retired after 31 years from the Heekin Can Company, Newtown, Ohio and a long time member of the Cameron Church of God, Norwood. Visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm with celebration of life of life service to follow at the Cameron Avenue Church of God, 2156 Cameron Ave. Norwood, Ohio. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio Wednesday morning. Arrangements by Evans Funeral Home.
