David Allen Wittmeyer

David Allen Wittmeyer of Amelia, Ohio passed away Saturday July 16, 2022 after a long 29 month battle with pancreatic cancer. David was born May 4, 1947 in Newtown, Ohio the son of the late Milton Wittmeyer and the late Ruth Spahr Wittmeyer. He is survived by his wife of nearly 18 years to Pricilla Haislip Wittmeyer. David was the father of Eva Payton, Sheila Holbert, Jackie Robinson, Belinda Wagers, Angelo Haislip, and Robert McGlothlin; Grandfather of Lori Hatfield, Jessica LeRoy, David "DJ" Holbert, Nicola Holbert, Joshua Arndt, and Jabin Arndt; Great grandfather of Liam Hatfield, Roman Hatfield, Hunter LeRoy, Nova Miller, Alyssa Arndt, Jason Arndt, Vada Arndt, and Lillian Arndt; Dave was a loving husband, proud U.S. Army Infantry veteran, 2nd Amendment supporter, Gun carrying, loved serving Pastor on security team, Loved Jesus, was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was always ready to protect his home and family without reservation. David was loved by his neighbors and church family. He will be sorely missed.
