It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Dawn Lynne Wainright, who peacefully left this world on October 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on November 29, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dawn's journey took her to Florence, Kentucky, where she lived a life filled with love, family, and joy.
Dawn was a devoted mother to her daughters, Chelsey and Cassidy, and a proud grandmother to her beloved grandson, Noah Sturgill. She was the former wife of Joseph Fath, who admired her zest for life. Dawn cherished every moment spent laughing and creating memories with her family, always bringing warmth and laughter into their lives.
An underwriter at Great American Insurance Company, Dawn dedicated many years to her career, earning the respect of her colleagues and friends. Her adventurous spirit was ignited by her love for the beach and all things tropical. While the sands and sun were her happy place, fall held a special place in her heart with its vibrant colors and cozy vibes.
In her youth, Dawn demonstrated her competitive side on the softball field and volleyball court, showing great enthusiasm and skill. Outside of work and sports, she delighted in shopping and shared countless moments of laughter with friends. Her French Bulldog, Benny, was a constant companion, following her around as she navigated her daily adventures.
Dawn is survived by her devoted daughters, sister Deborah Pearson, sister Toni Conley, and brother Phillip Wainright. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating Dawn's life Tuesday November 4th at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 100 Miami ave. Terrace Park, Ohio. The family will be receiving friends starting at 10 AM with funeral service at 11. Reception at the church to follow.
As we remember Dawn, let us cherish her love for life and the moments she filled with laughter and warmth. May her spirit live on in all our hearts.
