Deborah J. Reinhart

April 27, 1949 — September 16, 2021

Deborah (Debbie) Jane Reinhart (Taylor), born 4/27/1949 to Edna Jane and Charles Taylor of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on 9/16/2021 in her home in Mt. Adams. She fought a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Debbie graduated from Milford High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Xavier University. She lived a full, happy and accomplished life as daughter to Edna, wife to Raymond, sister to Steve (Jane), Sally (John) Hoynacki and Jill (Ringo) Davis; mother of two daughters, Kristin (Leland) Lewis and Megan; and grandmother to Isabella, Charlize and Finn Ryan, Brett and Lauren Lewis. She was preceded in death by her father Charles and brother Jack.

Debbie was a teacher, mentor and a friend to many. She was an inspiration to those she met and worked with throughout her life. She was loved and will be missed immensely by family and friends. May she rest in the peace and comfort of the Lord's hands.

As her last gift, Debbie donated her body to UC Medical School to help train new doctors and advance medical science. We can only hope that maybe, just maybe, it will also provide some insight into more effective treatments/healing for those suffering from cancer.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on October 9th from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the "Little Red School House" located at 8100 Given Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243 (Indian Hill*). All friends and family are invited.

Besides keeping Ray in line, one of Debbie's greatest achievements was her passionate work with homeless children. She chose Compass for Kids in Springfield, Illinois as her charity of choice. It was founded by one of Debbie's interns and modeled after Project Connect, the program she started in Cincinnati.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Compass for Kids. You can get additional information about this organization at compass4kids.org or contact them at 217-691-8103. Donations can be made by mail (501 S 4th St. Springfield, lL 62701) or online (address above).

May the Lord be with us all as we continue our journey through life.
