Denice K. Schneider

Denice Denny Schneider passed away on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, at the age of 73.

Beloved wife of 43 years to Richard Schneider, loving mother to Brian (Caress) Schenk and Steve (Tracy) Schenk, devoted grandmother of Malcolm, Brooklyn, Gus and Eloise Schenk, dear sister of Iva (Vick) Hiles, Mark (Laura) Denny, Mary (Mike) Koch, Barbara (Roger) Propes, and Kathy (Steve) Miley, and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Denny and Imogene Hutton Denny, her sister Bonnie Kiessler and two brothers: Steve Denny and John Denny.

Denice was known to all who met her for her warmth, infectious smile, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She had the rare gift of making everyone feel welcome. It didn’t matter if you were a lifelong friend or a stranger—she greeted everyone with the same kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Denice was a lover of music and books; she had an unshakable passion for life. Whether it was going to see a local band, getting lost in a novel, or spending time with her beloved family, she lived life with an open heart and a deep love for those closest to her. Family was everything to Denice, and her devotion to her loved ones was boundless. Always up for an adventure, she embraced life with a sense of excitement and curiosity, ready to explore new experiences and make lasting memories along the way.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5th, 2025, 11 a.m. at Evan’s Funeral Home in Milford. Address: 741 Center Street Milford, OH 45150 with memorial gathering beginning at 10:00a.m.  A celebration of life will be held from 12-2pm at COhatch in Milford.
