Dennis Ryan Elliott

Dennis Ryan Elliott, age 78 of Terrace Park passed Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was the son of Robert Towne and Ellen Claire (nee Brittain) Elliott. He graduated from Withrow High School and received his Associate Degree at the University of Cincinnati. Dennis joined the Army Corps of Engineers and was discharged on March 1, 1968. He was the owner of 35 years of the Eliott Electric Service. He was a member of the Terrace Park Life Squad for 17 years and the Terrace Park Volunteer Fire Department for 34 years, retiring as the Assistant Chief. Being an Expert Rifleman in the Army, he was a member of the Miami Rifle and Pistol Club, the Ohio Gun Collectors Association, the NRA and a member of the Greater Cincinnati Electrical Association. He has been married to Judith (nee Schlueter) Elliott for 52 years; they have two children, Jennifer Claire Elliott and Ryan Joseph Elliott. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, June 26, 2017 at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church 552 Main St. Milford 45150. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, June 25,2017 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery. His family requests that memorials in his memory be directed to the Terrace Park Volunteer Emergency Services or the American Lung Association.
