It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dennis King Jr., who left us on December 19, 2024, at the age of 61. Dennis was born on May 17, 1963, and was a man of quiet strength, known for his kind heart and generous spirit. Though he often kept to himself, those who knew him cherished the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives.
Dennis possessed a passion for music that resonated deeply within him; he was a talented drummer whose rhythmic talent could light up any room. His quick wit and playful sense of humor made him a joy to be around, and he had an uncanny ability to bring a smile to the faces of those he loved, often through a well-timed joke or a light-hearted tease.
A skilled tree trimmer, Dennis took pride in his work, which he approached with dedication and a meticulous eye for detail. He, however, was not just defined by his profession; he was a loving companion to his dog, Paco, who passed away just two days before him-a bond that was a source of comfort and joy in his life.
Dennis is survived by his devoted sisters, Teresia Wiley, Reba Hughes, and Valerie Cornelius, along with his brother-in-law's, Pastor Robert Hughes, James Wiley and Larry Mueller. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, as well as the steadfast friendship of Eric Fisher, who was his source of support and care during his later years.
To celebrate Dennis’s life, a graveside service will be held on January 3rd at Myers Cemetery in Goshen, beginning at 12 PM. Pastor Robert Hughes will be officiating.
Dennis King Jr. will be greatly missed but fondly remembered, living on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his siblings, Sherry Ellison, Charlotte Barker, Kimberly Mueller, James Watson, his parents, Dennis King Sr., Margie King
