Tuffy Cole

Denvil “Tuffy” Ray Cole was born on March 29, 1946, in Lee County, KY, to the late Price and Mae (nee Allen) Cole. Tuffy was the loving husband of 51 years to the late Vada Mae (nee Pitman) Cole; Dear father of Scott Cole, Roy (Tawnya) Cole, Rick Cole, and Gary Cole; Cherished grandfather of Samantha Cole, Brayden Cole, and Ethan Cole. He is survived by four siblings Lonnie (LG) Cole, Harold Cole, Dottie Wheeler, and Catherine Cole. In addition to his wife and parents, Tuffy is preceded in death by his siblings John Cole, Linville (Buge) Cole, Leonard Cole, Fred Cole, Ralph Cole, Betty Stewart, Beulah Hasting, Francis Craines, and Nelly Jane Cole.

Tuffy was a man of God and enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his sons and his grandchildren. Tuffy never met a stranger and could talk for hours. In his spare time, he could be found watching old westerns and studying his Bible.

Tuffy passed away suddenly on December 18, 2023, at the age of 77. Resident of Pleasant Plain, OH. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM at The House of Prayer – Butlerville, OH. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery
