Dian Lynn Hosny

Dian was born to Agnes and Walter Everson October 30, 1945. She graduated from University of Cincinnati with Bachelor degree in health and physical education. She went back to U.C. and received her second degree in nursing, graduating Summa cum laude in her class. She specialized in children psychiatry and worked as a psychiatric RN at Emerson North hospital and Children hospital in Cincinnati. She retired early to travel the world with her husband Dr. Wishaa Hosny and to enjoy riding horses with her husband and best friend Nancy. Dian and Wishaa left Cincinnati in 2017 and moved to their retirement home on The Hillsboro Mile in south Florida on the Atlantic. Dian was a loving wife, incredible mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and best friend. She is survived by her Husband, Wishaa, her son Todd Steltenkamp, daughters Melisa (Chris) Hertzel, Vanesa Steltenkamp, as well as three grandchildren, Meagan and Kyle Steltenkamp and Claudia Elle Hertzel, her Brother Lee (Grace,deceased) Everson, her sister Sheree (Joe) Ernst, nephews, Shawn and Christian Everson, Joseph A. Ernst, and many In Laws of her husband's, her very best friend and partner in the world Nancy (Joe) Chapman and her two daughters Lisa and Allison. She had an unusually healthy and youthful beautiful appearance and zest for life. She was a dynamic force that held strong to the end with her battle of ALS. She died peacefully in her sleep August 17, 2022 with her loving, adoring husband Wishaa sleeping next to her. She will always be with us and painfully missed for the rest of time. A mass will be held at St. Andrew Church 552 Main Street Milford Thursday August 25, 2022 at 10:00 am following with a Mausoleum service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 11000 Montgomery Rd.
