Diane Kaye Visconte passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, following a courageous journey with Parkinson's disease, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born on February 3, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, Diane lived a vibrant, generous life anchored by her devotion to family and friends. Thoughtful, loving, and selfless, she was a steady source of comfort and warmth to everyone who knew her. Diane had a remarkable gift for making a house feel like a home and bringing people together. She had an eye for beautiful decorating and landscaping, and loved to host dinners with her family, especially at birthdays and holidays.
Diane embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. Whether she was at Jazzercise, enjoying a sunny afternoon on the golf course, bowling with friends in their league, or gathered around a table for lively card games and laughter, she brought people together. An avid reader, she looked forward to her book club gatherings, sharing thoughtful conversation and lasting friendships. Her hands were rarely idle, often creating something lovely with her knitting needles for those she loved. She also loved spending time with family and friends at the lake in Petoskey, Michigan.
Above all, Diane's heart belonged to her family. She shared a beautiful 56-year marriage with her husband, Don, built on sacrificial love, respect, and unwavering companionship. Together they created a lifetime of cherished memories and a strong foundation for their family. Devoted to those she loved, Diane found great joy in simply being with them, especially watching and spoiling her beloved grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her husband Don, her son Barry (Susan), grandchildren Luke and John, siblings Karen Jones (Don) and Joyce Goff (Donn), nieces and nephews Leslie (Seamus) Doherty, Stephanie (Brian) Magill, Brent (Andrea) Jones, Lauren Kendall and Kevin (Morgan) Goff, and a wide circle of dear friends whose lives she enriched every day as they enriched hers. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa, and her parents Irvin and Dorothy Thiele.
Her kindness and selfless spirit will be remembered always.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diane's honor to Crossroad Community Church, The Parkinson's Foundation, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
A memorial service to celebrate Diane's life will be held Saturday, September 26th, 12pm, at Crossroads Community Church Chapel, 3500 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH. A reception will follow the service at the Visconte home.
Evans Funeral Home, Milford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
