Donald (Don) Bierman, age 89, left this world on April 29, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, OH, in August, 1936, to Charles and Elsie F. Bierman, Don lived a life filled with an unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Don was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Joyce Ann Bierman (nee Yourell) for 64 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life that included their two sons, Don Bierman and Dave Bierman. Don found joy in his role as a grandfather to Zane Bierman and Maggie Bowser.

In addition to being a family man, Don dedicated 38 years as a machine repairman at Xtek Corp. in Sharonville, OH, retiring in 1998. After hanging up his tools, he volunteered at local charities, including Hope Emergency in Fayetteville Oh., and Laborers for the Master, where he gave his time and skills to those in need.

Don was also known for his passion for fishing and the great outdoors. In retirement, his goal was to go fishing 200 days a year, and he cherished every moment. A handyman at heart, he was there to fix things for others, often before tending to his own projects.

Don was preceded in death by his three brothers, Charles, Robert, and John Bierman (US Navy MIA in 1945).

In his final wishes, Don donated his body to The University of Cincinnati for medical research, reflecting his belief in giving back to the community even in death.

The family will hold a celebration of life gathering at their home on Sunday, May 17, from noon until 4 p.m., where all are welcome to share food, stories, laughter, and memories. Your presence and support mean the most. If you would like to honor Don with a gift, memorial donations may be made to: Hope Emergency Program, P.O. Box 214 Fayetteville, OH 45118.
