Donald Adkins

Donald "Don" Ray Adkins, age 76, passed away on January 27, 2024, at Georgetown Ohio Veterans Home.

Don was born on March 28, 1947 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Lloyd and Joie (nee Parker) Adkins.

Don is survived by his wife Linda (nee Morgan) they married on September 4, 1971. Also survived by his two sons Brian (Rhonda) Adkins and Jason (Margaret) Adkins. Grandchildren; Brooklyn, Adrien and Isaiah. Brother-in-law Phil (Joyce) Morgan, nieces Amy Adkins and Rachel (Mike) Morgan and nephew Nathan (Lauren) Morgan and survived by extended family member and friends.

Preceded in death by his brother Melvin Adkins.

Don served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, he was honorably discharge and received a Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze service Stars. He was member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and was 100% disabled.

Visitation for Don will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2024 from 12:00PM until time of service at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
