Don Conover

Donald Lee Conover was born on October 3, 1940 to the late William and Mary (nee Jones) Conover; Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Donna (nee Fitzgerral) Conover; Loving father of Dwayne (Julie Petry) Conover, Dianna (Leroy) Bellamy, Dwight Conover, and the late David Conover along with daughter-in-laws Becky, Debbie, and Robin. Cherished grandfather of Sydney Reed, Katja Loeb, Kaitlyn Jennings, Tanya Petry, Christopher Petry, Ashley Conover, Tayler Conover, D.J. Conover, Courtney Kane, Chase Bellamy, Samantha Conover, Allison Conover and the late Michael Conover; Great-grandfather of Dakota, Michael, Noah, Landon, Hunter, Shyla, Amiyah, Joshua, Elijah, Willow, Andrew, Adalynn, Aurora, Kaliyah, and the late Kingston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Don is also preceded in death by his sisters Mary Jo Allen, Patsy Allen, Dorothy Acuff, and brother Daryl Conover.

Don enjoyed his spare time camping and fishing at Lake Erie, enjoying the peace and quiet of the water and catching his fair share of walleye. He also enjoyed woodworking and was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Don will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Don passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 82. Resident of Blanchester, Ohio. A visitation will be held on August 4, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home – 1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery – Newtonsville, Ohio
