Donald Harry Painter

Donald Harry Painter beloved husband of 62 years to the late Joan Yvonne (nee Stouder) Painter; loving father of Jeff (Elaine) Painter, Joni (Reed) Miller and the late Eric Painter; cherished grandfather of Brian (Christina) Painter, Renee Painter, Hannah Painter, Emma Miller, Sarah Painter and Matthew Painter; great grandfather of Juliana Painter, Olivia Painter, Alexander Painter and Leila Painter. Donald was not only preceded in death by his wife and son, but also his parents, John Harry and Edith (nee Peak) Painter; and siblings, Philip Painter, Keith Painter, Stephen Painter, Joyce Hornbach and Ruth Thomas. He was a member of the church of Christ. Don built and lived in several homes in Madeira and Lebanon, and resided in Mason since 2019. He was the founder of Painter Construction Company and Eastern Hills Realty. Don went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 15, 2021 at the age of 83 years. He will be missed by many friends, his extended family, and all who were blessed to know him. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH 45150 on Saturday February 20th from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
