Donald Lee Turner

Donald Lee Turner of Amelia, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 82. Don was born on November 10, 1940 in Ripley, Ohio to the late Lillian (Gardner) Turner and Marion Wallingford “Hop” Turner. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn Fritz and his siblings, Mary Ruth Walker, Lillian Jean White, William Allen Turner and James Claude Turner.

Don is survived by his wife Joyce Trout, his brother Charles Robert Turner, his sister Marian Alice Pfeffer, daughter Deborah (Stephen) Jackson, son John (Jennifer) Turner, Elaine Stephens, Daryl Trout, Kevin Trout; his grandchildren Katrina, Evan, Chelsea, Alex, Megan, Allyssa, Michaela, and great-granddaughter Adeliese, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Don served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Wasp where he was trained as an electrical technician. He retired from Combustion Engineering Company where he was a Field Service Engineer.
