**Obituary for Donna Lee Cornett**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Cornett, aged 69, who left us peacefully on March 12, 2025. Born on March 9, 1956, in Mariemont, OH, Donna lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering spirit.

Donna spent over 25 enriching years as a preschool teacher at Child Focus, where her care and dedication shaped the lives of countless young children. Known for her happy-go-lucky demeanor, she embraced life with carefree enthusiasm. Donna had a passion for motorcycles, finding joy in the open road and the wind in her hair. She was not only a wonderful parent to her children,Cole Cornett, Shelly Barger and David Cornett, but also a loving companion to her partner, Kenneth Bauer, with whom she shared the last ten years of her life after the passing of her late husband, Green Cornett.

Donna is survived by her cherished children, and her adored grandchildren: Roland Blake Cornett, Kayla Bowling, Brandon Barger, Aaron Cornett, Paige Cornett, Elizabeth Adams, Corinna Hay, and Ciaira Baker. With nothing but love in her heart, Donna created a legacy of compassion, joy, and unwavering support for her family and friends.

In celebration of Donna's life, a visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on March 21, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Donna will then be laid to rest during a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery at 12:00 PM on the same day.

We invite all who knew and loved Donna to come together to honor her life, share joyful memories, and find comfort in the love she spread throughout her time with us. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, Donna.

Donna was preceded in death by husband Green Cornett, parents Robert Branham and Charlotte Apgar and son Marshall Cole Cornett.
