Donna Colleen Statzer

Donna C. Statzer was called home on January 20, 2020. She was a long time resident at The Laurels of Milford.

Her husband, Ronald Schneider preceded her in death on December 15, 1986. They were married on November 11, 1978. She was also preceded by both of her parents, a sister, Sandra Statzer and nephew, Nicholas Woodward.

Donna was born on January 28, 1943 to Dennie and Nell Statzer. She grew up in Ross, Ohio.

Donna was a very passionate artist. She enjoyed painting, photography, sculpting, woodwork and various arts and crafts.

Rescue dogs and cats also held a large piece of Donna's love. She always opened her home and heart to rescue animals and treated them with so much love. She was always saying how each and every creature is capable of love and each have their own distinct personalities.

Frank Eicher II of Harrison, OH, John Eicher, Shawn Statzer of Columbus, OH and Tara (Bruce) Cornett of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren Christine Eicher, Kaitlin Eicher, Benjamin Eicher, Elijah Eicher, Elyssa Eicher, Rebekah Eicher, Sarah Eicher, Jay Kidd, Shelby Kidd-Eicher, Cody Kidd and Adam Cornett; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Also survived by her sister Melody Woodward and brother Terry Statzer.

There will be a small service officiated by Chaplain Jim Hopkins at 2 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery chapel, 686 Mt. Moriah Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45245.
