Donna L. Sutherland

Sutherland, Donna L. (nee Held), 75, of Maineville, OH was born April 23, 1945 and she peacefully entered the arms of the Lord and Savior on June 5, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Barbara Held. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband Bill of 56 years. Two brothers, Dave Held and Denny (Cathy) Held, and her grateful children, Amy (Eli) Tucker of Hubert, North Carolina and Joe (Jennifer) Sutherland of Clarksville, Ohio. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Zach, Mac, Satch, and Sadie Tucker.

She selflessly was a stay at home mom for her children and a faithful wife. Her passion was teaching Sunday School and Backyard Bible Clubs for children of all ages who affectionately called her Miss Donna. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids on the beach in North Carolina looking for shells and shark teeth. She had a green thumb that was evident in her flower gardens and yard. She was quick to strike up a conversation with anyone she passed and never met a stranger. She loved to share with them her love for the Lord.

She will be greatly missed by her family and her many dear friends.

Services are as follows: Tuesday, June 9, 2020 visitation will be at Cozaddale Baptist Temple 10632 Eltzroth Road Goshen, OH 45122 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM Burial to follow at Maineville Cemetery. Evans Funeral Home - Goshen serving the family
