Doris Louise Brate

Doris Louise (nee McCoppin) Brate beloved wife of 57 years to Floyd Brate; loving mom of Mike (Tracy) Brate and Amy Brate; cherished Memaw of Jonathan (Jill) Brate and Abigail (Luke) Ramler; great Memaw of Aspen Mailing-Brate and Joseph Ramler; dear sister in law of Robert Brate, Lewis (Kathy) Wiggins Jr. and Connie (Tom) Wiggins Pugh; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Clara (nee Nolin) McCoppin; and brother, Donald McCoppin. Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday May 12, 2022. Age 78. Residence Williamsburg, Ohio. Doris was an amazing lady. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, and flowers. Doris loved camping and traveling. She will be greatly missed and pleasantly remembered. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio. The family asks that memorial donations be given to Hope Emergency Program, 5333 Kernan Rd., Lynchburg, OH 45142.
