Doris Lavone Maly, age 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. She was born on October 9, 1937, in Cincinnati, and lived a life rich in love, laughter, and resilience.

Doris will be lovingly remembered as the devoted wife of the late Marvin J. Maly and the cherished mother of Mark (Becki) Maly, Bonita (Richard) Sirk and Dennia (Kevin) Smith. She finds eternal rest surrounded by the warmth of family, including her grandchildren: Randall Maly, Richard "Scooter" Sirk, Brittany Smith, and Megan York, and her great-grandchildren: Trinity Frazier, Serinity Lee, Owen York, Ryder Gilmer, and Bentley Gilmer.

A proud sister, Doris will be missed by Gary "Puddin" Toles, and she was preceded in death by her siblings Mable Vanover, Joe Toles, Lonnie Toles, J.C. Toles, Jimmy Toles, Susie Woody, and Rita Jeffers.

Doris was a hardworking woman, spending many years of her life to the manufacturing industry as a factory worker. Beyond her work ethic, she was a vibrant spirit who embraced life's simple joys. She found excitement in visiting local casinos, playing cards, exploring thrift stores, and crafting beautiful items. Time spent with family was precious to her, and she shared countless laughs while watching old romance and western movies. Doris had a passion for bingo and yard sales and had an unwavering love for coffee with milk.

Described as outspoken and unapologetically genuine, Doris's tough exterior masked a deeply loving heart. Her ability to joke and bring smiles to those around her will be greatly missed.

In honor of her life, a visitation service will be held on August 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, OH. Funeral service will follow the visitation, starting at 11:00 AM. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford.
