Dorothy Idell Gampfer

GAMPFER, DOROTHY IDELL (nee Hayes) - was born on November 22, 1946 and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 77 years. She married Ronald (Ron) E. Gampfer Sr. in 1969 and together, they raised four loving sons. She was the devoted mother of Joe (Laila) Gampfer, Chris (Tracey) Gampfer, Kevin (Miranda) Gampfer, and the late Ronnie Gampfer Jr.; Loving grandmother of Cameron Gampfer, Kendall Gampfer, Dion Gampfer, Corey Gampfer, Lindsay Scott, Danielle Folkerth, McKenzie Gampfer, Stephanie Hixson, and Stacie Gampfer; Dottie was a great grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren and a dear Aunt to a lot of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 6 siblings.

Dottie was a longtime resident of Milford, Ohio. Dottie thought the world of her family and friends and in return was known as Mom Gampfer to most people throughout her life.

Dottie really enjoyed watching sports on television with football and baseball being her favorite. She was always supporting the Hometown teams, REDS, and BENGALS. She also loved to watch her grandchildren play on their sporting teams rooting them on at their lacrosse, football, volleyball, and basketball. Throughout the years, she enjoyed fishing, camping and visiting the casino with her late sister Della playing slot machines.

There will be a visitation at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 Thursday March 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service at 6:00 PM.
