Dorothy Ann Bridges Rodgers Lorentz

Dorothy Ann Bridges Rodgers Lorentz age 87, of Wayne Township, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Venetian Gardens in Goshen. She was born July 12, 1931 in Anderson Township, the daughter of Harold Aaron and Ethel Marie (nee Mathews) Bridges. She was a 1945 graduate of Anderson High School and married Paul Lorentz Sr. who preceded him in death on December 21, 2016. In the 1960s Dorothy and Paul owned "Paul's Gulf" in Edenton, she was a professional secretary for United Artists and the Catholic Crusader Magazine, among other businesses. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Kenneth J. & Vivian Rodgers, Paul "Butch" & Sandra Lorentz Jr. grandchildren; James (Amanda) Rodgers III, Stephanie Rodgers, Andrea (John) Lorentz-Shulimson, Stacee Rodgers, Arin (Mike) Lorentz-Keener Timothy James "T.J." Rodgers, 7 great-grandchildren and siblings Mariam (Karl) Clark, Evangeline (Clarence "Al") McQuesten and William G. "Jerry" Bridges, sister-in-law; Margie Bridges. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sons; James F. Rodgers, Michael Timothy Rodgers and brother Richard Bridges. Services will be 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 with visitation 10:30 AM until the time of service at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen 45122. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery in Wayne Township. Dorothy's family requests that lieu of flowers memorials go to Matthew 25 Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Rd. Blue Ash, Ohio 45242
