Dorothy Welch, of Peebles, OH, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on November 1, 1937, Dorothy spent her days immersed in the simple joys of life. She found solace in her beloved garden, where she lovingly tended to her flowers and plants. An avid treasure hunter, Dorothy always looked forward to the thrill of discovering unique finds at yard sales. Her creative spirit shone through in her passion for crafts and crochet, gifts she shared with those around her.
Dorothy's eyes would light up as she added to her extensive collection of dolls, each one holding a special place in her heart. In every stitch, every bloom, and every trinket she cherished, Dorothy's love and care were evident.
Dorothy is the beloved wife of Charles Welch, mother of Robert Rogers, Gary (Marcia) Rogers, Theresa (Jon Cluff) Adams, Alexander (Heather Joelle) Adams, Pam (Bruce Rolls) Adams, and the late Kimberly Adams, grandmother of Timmy, the late Todd, Anthony, Taylor, Fawn, Ginger, Salina, Michael, Christine, William, Ashley (Justin), Jordan, Ruby, Levi, Dakota, Logan, Matthew, Aaron, Nico, the late Philip and the late Jonathan, great-grandmother of 35, great-great-grandmother of 1. Step-mother of Robert (Venus) Welch, Kenneth (Diane) Welch, the late Gary Welch, Larry (Danielle) Welch, the late Sharon (Ron) Hammonds, Karon Mott, Kevin (Amy) Welch, Michael Welch and Tracy (Ron) Hooven, step-grandmother of Kimberly, Kenny, Kyle, Justin, Christopher, Ashley, Charles, Samantha, Sean, Stephanie, and Robert, Kelsey, Cameron, Amanda, Ryan, great-step-grandmother to many. Dorothy is sister of Harriett (Chuck) Wills, the late Hazel Frisch, the late Mary Ann Durbin, the late Charles Bayless Jr. and the late Jack Bayless. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Friday, May 10th from 10 AM until the funeral services beginning at 11:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
