Edith F. Young

Young, Edith F. Our dear friend Edith passed away peacefully on November 24, 2017 at the age of 91. Edith F. Kotzbauer married her high school sweetheart John J. Bailey until he died at the young age of 46. It wasn't until years later that Edith was married to Cecil Young, the band leader of the Cecil Young Orchestra, until his premature death at age 61. Edith is survived by Cecil's children, Vicki Lohr and Vonnie Vararassi and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edith is also followed by her beloved friends Vina Kirk and Gerenee Whitsitt. Edith is laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard, next to her beloved Johnny and her mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Venetian Gardens Nursing Home, Activity Department, located in Loveland. A committal Prayer Service will be held January 6th at noon in the St. Mary's at St. Mary's Cemetery. Please contact Gerenee Whitsitt or Evans Funeral Home for further information.
