Edward G Arnold of Morrow, Ohio departed this life Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 69 years and 14 days.
He was the son of Melvin and Laberta (Schutt) Arnold born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 5, 1947.

He is survived by his wife Rita Arnold of 33 years. One son Scott Edward (Amy) Arnold and one daughter Kimberly Jo (Freddie) Patrick of Campton, Kentucky. Two grandsons Zachary and Nicholas Arnold and one granddaughter Angela Jo Patrick. Two brothers Richard Arnold, and Donald (Sue) Arnold of Aurora, Indiana. And a special nephew Benny Shilts along with many loving sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Edward was a diesel mechanic at the family business (Mel Arnold Garage) till forced to close due to his illnesses. He could work and repair anything. He was an inspiration to all and always took time to teach and explain things to anyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors. He had a smile the size of Texas and when he called you buddy he meant it.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Melvin and Laberta Arnold, mother in law Hope Davis and a sister in law Kathie Arnold.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sugar Run Valley Baptist Church, 5886 State Route 132, Morrow, Ohio, Saturday February 27, 2016 at 11:30 A.M.
