Eileen Higby

Eileen Binkley Jones Higby, 93, died Saturday, April 22, Loveland, Ohio. Born April 24, 1924, she was the daughter of Joe and Alma Binkley. She married Maurace F. Jones Sept. 1944. Upon his death in 1955, she married Philip Higby in June 1963. She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers (Donald and Robert Binkley) and sisters-in-law, infant daughter Darlene, one nephew and niece and both husbands. She is survived by son Wayne (Marge) Jones of Loveland, grandson Brian (Rebecca) Jones of Fairfax, VA, granddaughter Alisa (Steve) Nelson of Maineville, and great-granddaughter Madelyn Jones, nieces Mary Kay (Cliff) Cole and Jeannie Coyle and nephew Larry (Dot) Binkley. An avid gardener, her roses and violets were the envy of many. She was an avid Reds fan and enjoyed being with family and friends. Dogs were her special joy and she was rarely without one, her latest being Little Bit, who works as a therapy pet.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, April 28. The memorial service is 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 29 with visitation one half hour beforehand. Evans Funeral Home, Milford, Ohio, serving the family. As desired donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati.
