Elaine Claire Arnold

Elaine Claire Arnold was born on July 27, 1947, to the late Joseph and Evelyn (nee Reineke) Opel. Loving mother of Tony L. (Lynn) Arnold; Cherished mammaw of Deavon Arnold and Brandon Arnold; Dear sister of Norma Davis, Pat Jones, Beverly Jacobs, and Ronald Opel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by two brothers, Don Opel and Joseph Opel.

Elaine was a warm, kind-hearted, and family oriented woman, but also strong and resilient. Elaine was a cancer survivor. She was a huge fan of the great Alan Jackson and also enjoyed crafts. She enjoyed making scrapbooks, put together many photo albums, and loved anything with ducks! Elaine liked to travel and find an adventure everywhere she went.

Elaine passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 76. Resident of Goshen, Ohio. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home – 1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Elaine’s memory.
