Eleanor "Kay" Spencer, cherished mother and beloved grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 79. A lifelong resident of Williamsburg and was born on October 23, 1946, Kay radiated warmth and simplicity, nurturing those around her with unwavering love and a humble spirit.

Kay's journey through life was marked by a diverse career in service to her community. She retired as a clerk with the Village of Owensville, but her professional life also included roles as a beautician and bank teller, as well as her time with Croswell. In all her endeavors, she approached each task with grace and dedication, earning the admiration of her colleagues and friends.

An avid reader, Kay found solace and joy among the pages of her favorite books, often immersing herself in stories that reflected her kind-hearted nature. She possessed a green thumb and took great pride in her gardens, where she spent many tranquil hours nurturing vibrant flowers and plants. Her swimming pool was a haven of joy, where laughter echoed and memories were made with family and friends.

Kay is survived by her loving son, TJ (Susan) Spencer, and her two cherished grandchildren, Betsy (Ryan) and Abby (Blake), as well as two and a half precious great-grandchildren, one niece and numerous cousins, and her beloved dog Barkley. Her legacy will continue to flourish in their hearts and lives. Kay was preceded in death by: her parents Raymond and Bernice Still, her husband of 45 years Dennis Spencer, and brother Dick Still.

In remembrance of Kay's life, family and friends will gather on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 6-8PM in the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church 199 Gay St Williamsburg, Ohio 45176. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 10:30AM at the church, providing an opportunity for all who knew her to share stories, reflect on her unwavering spirit, and honor the simple beauty of a life well-lived.

Eleanor's gentle presence will be deeply missed, but the love she cultivated in the lives of those around her will forever remain.

As we remember Kay, the family asks that those attending wear "Bright Colored Clothes".
